Why Only PC?
Meccha Chameleon was developed by a single Japanese developer (credited as lemorion_1224). The game was built from scratch using PC-focused tools. Porting to consoles requires:
- Complete controller UI redesign (the paint tool uses mouse precision)
- Console certification processes (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo each have their own)
- Performance optimization for weaker hardware (Switch especially)
- Significant development time — estimated months of work per platform
The developer has not commented on any console ports. Given the game's massive success (2M+ copies in 5 days), a port is possible but not confirmed or announced.
