Penguin Hotel Map Guide (NEW)
Added in v1.2.0 — a luxury hotel setting with fresh meta and undiscovered hiding potential.
Map Overview
Penguin Hotel is the newest map, added in the v1.2.0 update. It features a luxury hotel lobby with elegant decor: gold-framed luggage carts, a black-and-white checkered marble floor, industrial kitchen areas, and detailed wallpaper corridors. The meta is still developing — now is the best time to find undiscovered spots before they become common knowledge.
Difficulty: Hard | Size: Medium | Best for: Advanced players, meta explorers
Best Hiding Spots
Luggage Cart Wedge
Crouch between suitcases on the gold-framed carts near the elevator. Paint to match the suitcase colors and textures. The luggage provides natural depth and shadow that breaks up your outline perfectly.
Checkered Floor Grid
Lie flat and align your body exactly with the black-and-white grid lines on the lobby floor. Adjust your material's roughness to match the marble texture. This requires precision — but when done right, you literally disappear into the floor pattern.
Industrial Kitchen Rack
Insert yourself between metal counters at a sharp angle so your limbs read as pipes. Paint to match the stainless steel with appropriate metallic properties. The kitchen's harsh lighting actually helps by creating strong reflections.
Baseboard Corner Compress
Hide where wallpaper meets wooden trim at the baseboard. Use two-tone paint: legs match the wood trim color, body matches the wallpaper pattern above. This creates a "broken outline" effect that tricks the eye.
Guest Corridor Patterns
The hotel corridors feature intricate wallpaper with repeating patterns. Position yourself to align with the pattern lines. Ensure wallpaper lines run straight across your body without visible breaks — any misalignment is an instant giveaway.
Penguin Hotel Unique Mechanics
- Marble reflections: The shiny checkered floor reflects light — adjust your roughness slider to match
- Gold accents: Many decor elements have metallic gold trim — use the metallic slider
- Multiple light sources: Chandeliers + wall sconces create complex shadows — sample from multiple angles
Seeker Tips for Penguin Hotel
- Check luggage carts from multiple angles — hiders wedge between suitcases
- Scan the checkered floor for "broken" grid lines
- Kitchen metal surfaces need metallic paint — look for wrong roughness
- Baseboards are a new hiding meta — sweep along all walls at floor level
- Hallway wallpaper patterns — look for any discontinuity in the repeat
